In a couple of hours live on Boxnation, Marco Huck faces Dymtro Kucher for the IBO World Cruiserweight Championship in Germany with the odds slightly in favour of the defender Huck.

Dymtro Kucher’s last outing was against Welshman and former WBO Cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli were he evaporated him in the first round, also live in Boxnation. He caught Maccarinelli flush with a shot that send him to the canvas, and after that it was quick to see that took it out of him and he never seemed to recover quick enough to get Kucher off him, forcing an unexpected early stoppage.

Kucher’s only professional loss is on a points decision to Illunga Makabu, former WBC world title challenger that was defeated for the vacant belt by stoppage from Tony Bellew earlier in the year at Goodison Park. Makabu had a devastating knockout record and had a very impressive KO ratio in his professional career with Kucher being the only man to last 12 rounds with him, taking his two defeats out of the equation, showing Kucher seems to have quite a solid chin.

Huck is coming off a victory against Ola Afolabi in their trilogy of fights, and prior to that suffering his first knockout loss at the hands of Polish challenger and former WBO Cruiserweight Champion Krzysztof Glowacki back in 2015 which was voted one of the fights of the year.

Huck is coming in the bookies favourite but this doesn’t mean he isn’t in for a tricky night, he still has a lot to give and Kucher still has a lot to prove, it should make for quite a good scrap.
