Last night saw the long awaited Gloves are off be released on our TV’s for the first time after seeing the snippet of footage that saw the two men almost brawling in what seemed a very heated moment.

This Saturday the pair meet in a big heavyweight showdown with Whyte putting his British Heavyweight Title on the line for the first time since beating Ian Lewison for the vacant belt. Chisora is no stranger to a domestic belt as hes been on the scene for years, previously holding this belt in 2010.

Chisora comes into the fight with a record of 26-6-0 (18ko’s) and Whyte steps into the ring with a record of 19-1-0 (15ko’s) suffering his only professional defeat when he got knocked out against Anthony Joshua this time last year.

The pair have known each other for years and in the Gloves are off, both referred to a sparring session in which Whyte took a knee after taking a blow apparently to the back of the head when he was just 20 years old.

Whyte apparently asked to remove his gloves so he could fight Chisora outside of the boxing ring, but after intervention from coaches and other boxers it appeared to be put to bed there and then.

Whyte’s best career moment is winning the British Title against an overweight and aged Ian Lewison earlier this year, however a seasoned Dereck Chisora is no stranger to some big fights, with the likes of David Haye, Tyson Fury and Vitali Klitschko on his resume.

The pair have been back and forward to each other on social media for ages with Whyte often referring to Chisora as a wife beater and comments on his relationship. They also live near one another and Whyte threatened yesterday to come to his house and see him.

Whyte is no stranger to offering someone out either as almost every press conference or weigh in we have seen him in, hes always giving it the large one. The fight wont be technically enjoyable and its got all the ingredients to be an absolute stinker, but hopefully both men loose their head and give us an all out war.

Eddie Hearn has said that the ring walk between Whyte and Chisora is aiming ro be around 9.45 UK time but it could be slightly later. Whyte enters a 2/5 favourite and Chisora enters a 5/2 underdog.

At today’s press conference there was another massive bust up as Chisora got up and threw a table at Whyte sparking a brawl between both sides.
