Questions are always asked around Anthony Joshua’s training regime and how he got from the body he had in the London Olympics, to the body he has now, but once again Joshua has chosen not to enroll into VADA’s clean program.
There is a bunch of Heavyweight fights this weekend, we have Anthony Joshua v Eric Molina, Joseph Parker v Andy Ruiz Jr, Dillian Whyte v Dereck Chisora and Luis Ortiz v Dave Allen.
Out of all of those names, there are three people who haven’t enrolled, Joshua, Luis Ortiz and Dereck Chisora. Luis Ortiz has already failed a drugs test twice in his career which in itself should be a permanent ban from the sport when you risk your life putting the gloves on.
On Anthony Joshua’s BoxRec page it used to have his VADA status as ‘Not Enrolled’ but since huge backlash from twitter with questions fired his and promoter Eddie Hearn’s way it has since been removed. Joshua is yet to enroll in a voluntary clean program which is appalling and many feel it should be compulsory for every fighter out there due to the dangers at risk.
