PACQUIAO V JEFF HORN SET FOR APRIL 23RD BUT NOT ON PPV?

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is set to have a meeting with Jeff Horn’s promoters Duco Events this week in Vegas to discuss the fight and to have it held over in Brisbane, Australia.

The fight is planned for the Suncorp Stadium which can handle a capacity of 50,000 fans which seems reasonably easy with a star as big as Manny heading down under. Arum doesn’t feel like he should place the show on PPV so its likely to put it on premium cable.

If the fight doesn’t make sense without the pay per view model financially then he said he would bring some of his fighters over from the US and stick them on the card to make it more justifiable.

Pacquiao has a record of 59-6-2 (38ko’s) and Horn has a record of 16-0-1 (11ko’s) and you would expect Manny to be the bookies favourite by quite a long shot. If Manny does come through succesful then the calls for him to face unified Super Lightweight champion Terence Crawford will be huge.
