Boxing’s pound for pound number one undefeated four weight world champion, Nicaraguan wizard Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez 46-0-0 (38ko’s) will face Thai fighter Sor Rungvisai 41-4-1 (38ko’s) on March 18 on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin v Danny Jacobs.

The winner of this fight will have to face former WBC Super Flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras, who lost his first professional career last year to Gonzalez in one of Chocolatito’s toughest fights yet.

Gonzalez is now aged 29 which still seems young for a fighter, but in the lower divisions it’s fairly old so there is question of his retirement in the next few fights. It would be a shame to see Gonzalez not hit 50 wins but the next handful of fights for him will prove tougher and tougher, especially with a huge potential unification clash with undefeated Japanese WBO Super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue.
