Former WBO Middleweight champion Andy Lee 34-3-1 (24ko’s) will return to the ring after a year lay off since losing to Billy Joe Saunders.
Lee will be lacing up the gloves once again on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin v Danny Jacobs , March 18 and he will be facing American middleweight KeAndrae Leatherwood 19-3-1 (12ko’s).
Since losing to Billy Joe Saunders in December 2015, Lee has been rumored to face a few big names in the sport with potential clashes against Golovkin and Miguel Cotto going into the mix.
Fighting in America will be no troubles for Lee as he has spent the last half of his career fighting in the states so he will be used to the hostile crowds, however his opponent, Leatherwood doesn’t seem to be the comeback we were all hoping for.
