Take a look at the abandoned mansion of former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson. Once known as “The baddest man on the planet” Tyson had a net worth of $400 million and these pictures of the house he used to live in show his devastating fall from grace.
Becoming one of the youngest heavyweight world champions of all time at the age of 19, Tyson had no guidance as his long-term trainer and father like figure Cus D’Amato had recently passed along side his beloved mother.
Growing up on the streets of Brooklyn stealing and fighting, Tyson was a stranger to the fortune and fame and with no one around to advise the teenager how to spend his earnings, he quickly met his demise. (All photos courtesy of @CartersNewsAgency)
The young superstar at one point even had a pet tigers that had their own cages on the grounds of his property. Each tiger cost $70,000 to own and an additional cost of $200,000 for their food for a year.
Tyson had hired an animal trainer that was on a salary of $125,000 a year to take care of the tigers when Tyson was away from home. He eventually gave them away to a tattoo artist before they were confiscated by the USDA.
Another unnecessary purchase was a $2 million gold bath tub he bought for his former wife along side $4.5 million worth of sports cars.

A very sad state of affairs to see someone have it all, and lose it all.
