19-year-old heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois makes his debut in the professional ranks as Frank Warren looks to imitate the success story of Anthony Joshua and turn his new protegé into a world star.

He will be fighting on the undercard of Liam Smith v Liam Williams at the Manchester Arena, and will be facing David Howe. We last saw Howe in action on the undercard of David Haye v Tony Bellew, he was stopped in the second round by Dave Allen.

Dubois was tipped as the next star of the GB boxing squad as boxing officials had their hopes on him winning gold at heavyweight in the 2020 Olympics. He has been in safe hands as he has been sparring with two heavyweight monsters, Tyson and Hughie Fury.

This is an exciting addition to Frank Warren’s stable and is the young, flashy and powerful prospect he was missing!
